Epidemiologists and Preventionists in Infection and Control (EPIC) is a grassroots organization established in 1974. As a unique organization, we have a diversified membership group which includes nurses, medical technologists, pharmacists, and epidemiologists, just to name a few.  This allows us to gain knowledge from their experience and expertise.

EPIC’s mission is “To improve patient care by serving the needs and aims common to all disciplines who are united in the prevention and control of infections.”   With the constant changes occurring in healthcare, it is imperative that we strive to meet this mission.

Becoming a member of EPIC allows you to network with colleagues, share information among various disciplines, and gain knowledge and expertise in the field of epidemiology and infection prevention.  You will have access to other members and enjoy monthly educational opportunities online &/or in-person.
